Is this a fee related to a credit-bearing academic course?

A credit-bearing academic course is any UVM course for which students earn academic credit. Course and program fees may be charged to students to recover the costs of materials and supplies that are not normally covered by the instructional budget but are fundamental to the special instructional activities associated with a specific course.

See the Course and Program Fees University Operating Procedure for more information.
