Bedrails

Please note that all beds that have been lofted by Residential Life prior to move-in will have bedrails installed. If you choose to loft your bed and would like bedrails, please put in a maintenance ticket.

If you choose to remove your bedrails, be sure to put in a maintenance ticket to have them reinstalled before check-out. Missing bedrails will result in a fee.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do I loft my bed?
A: Please do not loft your own bed. Instead, put in a maintenance request and a member of our facilities team will respond promptly.

Most beds can be lofted/bunked (under-bed clearance ranges from 3” to 69”).

Q: Is bedding provided?
A: No. Sheets, blankets, and pillows are not provided

Q: What if I want to remove a piece of furniture?
A: There is no furniture storage, all storage must remain in your room (cannot be left in the hallway) and any missing items will be billed at the end of the year

Q: What is the layout of triple rooms?
A: Most triple rooms have one loft-able bed and two bunked beds.

Q: Where can I store my gear?
A: There is no additional storage so keep in mind proper storage in your room for larger equipment like skis and snowboards.

Q: Can I install ______?
A: Due to extreme risk of fire and the danger of electrical overload, the use of certain types of electrical equipment is prohibited including: multi-plug adapters, halogen light bulbs (such as those found in most torchière style lamps), spider lamps, sun lamps, salt lamps, lava lamps, immersion heaters, and other high-wattage equipment, and space heaters.
