Gund Postdoctoral Fellow, Electrical and Biomedical Engineering Department

Jayashree is a Postdoctoral Associate in the Electrical and Biomedical Engineering Department at the University of Vermont and holds the position of Gund Postdoctoral Fellow. She successfully completed her Ph.D. in power systems and power quality at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, where her research focused on studying the impact of power electronic interfaces in electrically polluted grids. She was honored with gold medals in both B.Tech. and M.Tech. and received the IGCS fellowship for Research in Germany in 2019.

At UVM, Jayashree's research endeavors converge at the intersection of power systems and social science. She is dedicated to exploring the technological, economic, and social implications of diverse pathways for transitioning rural and remote communities to green energy.
