Program Specialist

Bailey Rowland is the Program Specialist with the Gund Institute for Environment at the University of Vermont. In this role, Bailey coordinates seed-grant and fellowship competitions, leads monitoring and evaluation, and provides support for Gund Institute programs.

Bailey moved to Vermont from Philadelphia, where she was the Financial Planning and Analysis Coordinator at The Common Market, a non-profit local food distributor. Bailey was previously a Sustainability Intern at the University of Pennsylvania. She holds a B.A. and Masters in Environmental Studies from the University of Pennsylvania. Her undergraduate thesis, “Evaluating Penn’s Green Living Certification: Successes and Recommendations for Improvement,” was awarded the Undergraduate Student Research Award by The Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE).
