Student Success Advisor and Experiential Learning Specialist

Lindsey (she/her) graduated from Stonehill College with a Bachelor’s Degree in International Studies. Prior to working at GSB, she spent 5 years in nonprofit management within the education and international development sectors. Most recently, she worked as an Admission Counselor at Saint Michael’s College where she co-managed strategies and services related to underrepresented students and college access. From her time working in admission, Lindsey was the Professional Development Chair of NECBAC, the Northeast Consortium Bridging Access to College, an organization dedicated to providing development opportunities for admission professionals of color and providing access for BIPOC students. Her multidisciplinary research background spans from TESOL education and acculturative stress, to identity politics in Kosovo where she presented at the CEEISA-ISA International Conference in Ljubljana, Slovenia in 2016.

As a Student Success Advisor and Experiential Learning Specialist, Lindsey applies a holistic advising strategy when working with students. She believes that student success starts with the story they tell themselves about their own potential and views advising as a facilitation, partnership and collaborative effort which can empower students to pursue whatever vision they hold for themselves. When she is not advising, Lindsey can be found taking advantage of the many dance opportunities around the Burlington area, working out, and experimenting with the variety of coffee shops found around town.
