Learning to Lead
The GSB Trail Blazers Leadership program offers high achieving students a unique set of professional development, leadership, and engagement opportunities. Our first GSB Trail Blazers cohort set to graduate in May 2027.
Members of the Trail Blazers program have access to a unique set of professional development, leadership, and engagement opportunities. The Trail Blazers journey begins with a focus on Leadership of Self. First Year students dig in to exclusive workshops on leadership and professional development topics like goal setting, navigating challenges, resilience, networking, developing elevator pitches, and more. The next Trail Blazers years build on that foundation to learn about Team Leadership, Organization Leadership, and finally, Executive Leadership as 4th year Trail Blazers help us to design the programming for the upcoming cohorts.
The program offers:
Cohort-based housing in the Living/Learning Complex for Years 1 and 2
First Friday Leadership lunches featuring guests across a range of leadership roles and styles
Access to exclusive workshops on leadership and professional development topics (goal setting, navigating challenges, resilience, networking, developing your elevator pitch, etiquette)
Professional Development opportunities including site visits, job shadowing and engagement with alumni and guest speakers
Mentorship and engagement opportunities with leaders from a range of professional backgrounds (GSB Board of Advisors, alumni and faculty)
Cohort focused experiential opportunities including case competitions, leadership opportunities, and Career Treks
