Gund Graduate Fellow, Holli Howard, discusses her master thesis research on urban ecology, through the Baltimore Ecosystem Study. She is working on developing a methodology to define the urban to metropolitan transition zone to strengthen ecological vulnerability planning. Before UVM, Holli was the Director of Geographic Resources at Casey Trees in Washington, DC. She holds a graduate degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Tasmania, Australia and a Bachelor of Science from the University of New Hampshire.
