Employer Partner Program
Check out our three (3) tiered Employer Partnership Program that will maximize your recruiting success through a robust set of options to connect with campus, build relationships, increase brand recognition, and develop a pipeline of talent that serves your workforce needs. The EPP was built to help you recruit students and alums with the skills and experiences you need.
Post Jobs or Internships
Handshake is a fantastic platform where you can post internships, jobs, and co-ops. It's not only used by UVM, but universities across the country. In addition to posting positions, you can also view student profiles.
If you have any questions about posting your job or want assistance with sharing your listing to specific CEMS Majors, do not hesitate to reach out to the Career Readiness Coordinator at email@example.com.
Participate in the Engineering Co-op Program
CEMS has developed a cooperative education program offering 6-12 month Cooperative Education (Co-Op) opportunities to students. Students have the opportunity to work for an employer full-time for one semester, or two.
The CEMS Career Readiness Program works closely with our Co-Op students to ensure they can still progress in their degree program while pursuing a full-time work experience during the academic year.
If you are interested in joining this program, contact the CEMS Career Readiness Program at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Join CEMS Events or Host Your Own
The most successful way to promote your organization and opportunities is to post your positions with us and participate in the various programs, events, and workshops held at UVM. Every year we host Employer Resume Review Nights, Networking Nights, Women & Non-Binary in STEM Conferences (and more) and would love your participantion. Additionally, want to host your own informational company event on campus, or host a recruiting day? We can make that happen! Please reach out to the CEMS Career Readiness Coordinator to get involved!
Virtual/ In-Person Career Fairs
If your company hosts internships, co-ops, or full-time positions we have career fairs twice a year, plus a STEM-only career fair in addition to those. If you're interested inrecruiting on campus email email@example.com.
On Tuesdays from 2-3pm, CEMS has a table your company could setup if your company wanted to recruit or share company opportunities with students in our STEM/Engineering Building.
Employer/Alumni Guest Speakers
Throughout the year, we are always seeking employers to serve as panelists inside and outside of the classroom. We also have project fairs and are always looking for judges.
