BIO
Curiosity brought me to career coaching, and it's what drives my work with students at the UVM Career Center. I believe the most meaningful careers emerge not from perfect plans but from asking honest questions: What lights you up? What breaks your heart? Where do purpose and possibility meet? These are the conversations I love having.
Before UVM, I spent a decade in faith-based, non-profit work—experience that taught me to marvel at growth in all its forms and to help people find meaning in their unfolding stories. I traded Tennessee sunshine for Vermont's green mountains and have never regretted it. The running community here has become a vital part of my life—those long miles on dirt roads and trails with friends are where I do some of my best thinking, listening, and living.
When I'm not running or coaching, I'm at home with my daughters Emma Grace and Julianna—trying out new recipes, reading anything that makes me pause, or dancing enthusiastically to music in the living room. Life's too short not to move—even if no one's grading my technique.
