Office of the Registrar
Banner is the main system UVM uses to manage student information.

The University has been working behind the scenes to upgrade our Self-Service Banner environment to the newest version (SSB9). Our Financial Aid processes and forms were updated in Spring 2026, and e-billing was moved to NelNet QuikPay. Student records, Registration, Faculty, and Advisor modules are being updated now, with rollout in January 2027

Self-Service Banner modules enable functionality accessed directly by students, faculty, advisors, and/or those with elevated Dean or Chair access. Self-Service functions in Banner support daily operations that include student course registration, student grades and academic records, faculty class rosters and grade entry, advisee look-up, faculty registration overrides, student financial aid dashboard, and much more.
