Gund Graduate Fellow, Steve Posner, attended the North American Congress of Conservation Biology in July with the rest of the Ricketts Lab.  While there he presented on his dissertation work and met up with Chad English, the Director of Science Policy Outreach at COMPASS. Chad was impressed with Steve's work on the role of science in the policy process, and wrote a great blog about it on their site, check it out. It's great to see the cross-connections between science, policy, and communications.
