"Bright Blue EcoMedia is pleased to announce that Bloom was honored on May 14th with a New England Emmy by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. The documentary on water quality of Lake Champlain received the award in the environmental programs category at the 34th Annual Boston/New England Emmy Awards Ceremony in Quincy, Massachusetts.

Screenings and discussions of Bloom continue to be organized throughout Vermont, and the list of PBS stations nationwide with Bloom airings keeps growing. With the ongoing support of the Lintilhac Foundation, follow-up episodes are currently under production and a new web page with educational materials will be released this summer.

Please contact vic@brightbluemedia.org to schedule an interview or a screening.  Also, please send us your email and we’ll keep you informed about upcoming events and progress on our follow-up films."
