As part of a top public research university, research in the Grossman School of Business impacts theory, practice, and society by addressing economic, social, and environmental challenges in a sustainable global economy. Our faculty researchers are nationally recognized thought leaders in sustainability, entrepreneurial thinking, and family business.
Faculty are frequently recognized for their research, publish in top-tier journals, present at global conferences, provide media with insights, deliver keynotes, and use research to accelerate learning in the classroom. Additionally, accreditation by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AASCB) recognizes the quality of our faculty research efforts, and the ability for students to take part in and learn from those experiences. A key part of the school’s learning outcomes involves critical thinking and problem solving– the ability to solve business problems by acquiring, interpreting, and synthesizing data–all of which are developed and enhanced through participation in research.
