Explore International Education at UVM
The Office of International Education (OIE) is responsible for two overarching functions: assisting students and faculty engaged in study abroad programs and assisting international students, scholars, faculty and staff studying and working on our campus.
Each year hundreds of UVM students study abroad through many different programs, including more than 20 different bilateral partnerships. Let the OIE help find the best program for you.
International Student Services
UVM has over 800 students from around the world, representing more than 60 countries. The OIE is pleased to support international students from the time they first show interest in UVM to the time they graduate. We offer immigration support, new student orientation, social and educational programming, and general advising.
International Scholar Services
UVM employs or hosts several hundred foreign nationals in a range of non-immigrant visa categories. The OIE supports both the hiring and hosting departments and the international faculty, staff and scholars as they prepare to come to UVM and during their time here.
