The transition to low-carbon energy systems demands comprehensive evaluation tools that account for technical, economic, environmental, and social dimensions. This talk will highlight a comprehensive, community-collaborative energy transition assessment framework. The applicability of the framework will be demonstrated by a case study of a remote community in Alaska. Three distinct pathways, including heat pump and battery integration, resource coordination, and expanded community solar PV, will be discussed.
