Economist Kristen Sheeran talks about the creation of a nation-wide network of economists with expertise in environmental issues who could interact with media, policymakers, business leaders, and the general public. This new network is called "The Economics for Equity and the Environment Network", otherwise known as the E3 Network.
This network claims to be standing on the shoulders of the works of such people as Robert Costanza and Herman Daly - people who have been doing this same work for decades now. Read on for Kristen Sheenran's explanation of why there was a need to create the E3 network, even with the visionary work of ecological economists like Robert Costanza, Herman Daly, Ferdinando Villa, Cutler Cleveland, Norman Myers and so many others.
