Evaluation of the Vermont Pay for Performance Progam

In 2025, the Gund Institute evaluated the pilot phase of the Vermont Pay for Performance Program (VPFP). Our assessment describes how VPFP rewards farmers for reducing phosphorus loss from their fields, improving water quality in Lake Champlain and Lake Memphremagog.
