Retired Green Renewal

The Retired Green* '22 will expire on 6/30/2022.

To renew your permit for another 3 year cycle (2022 - 2025) please email UVM Parking Services and provide us with your current vehicle(s) and include the State, Plate Number, Make, Color. 

Please note that parking permits are now VIRTUAL.  There will be no physical hangtag to display. Officers will enforce parking by looking up license plates to assure that vehicles are affiliated to a parking permit.  For this reason it is very important to assure that any vehicle you wish to park in campus lots be affiliated to your virtual parking permit for the duration of the permit cycle, and that the license plate information is accurate.

*Retired Green is to be used by the person it is registered to, and their registered vehicles. It is not to be used for campus parking by family members or friends.  Unauthorized use will be a violation subject to citation and/or towing.  

Affiliates (New) or Renewal

Adjunct faculty or Affiliated Organization Employees are considered 'affiliate employees'.  Affiliate parking permits must be paid for in advance. Location eligibility is determined by Parking Services and dependent on work location as provided by the employer.  Application will not be processed unless all citations have been paid in full.

Affiliate Brown, flat rate, July 1-May 31: $165 / July 1-June 30: $186
Affiliate White, flat rate, July 1-May 31: $247 / July 1-June 30: $278
Affiliate Green, flat rate, July 1-May 31: $329 / July 1-June 30: $370


Please note rates reflect the cost at the beginning of the permit cycle. Rates are prorated over the duration of the permit cycle. Please contact parking@uvm.edu for a proration schedule.

First-time employee parking permit requests must be arranged by completing the Affiliate/Temporary Staff Parking Permit Application and sending it to parking@uvm.edu.

For renewals (returning employees that have recently had a parking permit), please select Apply for Permit/Manage Your Parking Account .

Employee Carpool Renewal

Employee Carpool Permit (Green/White) Groups of employees organized for the purpose of carpooling. All members must complete an application and carpool agreement form. Please visit uvm.edu/transportation/employee-carpool-permit-program for more detailed information and to apply.

PLEASE NOTE: All full time, benefit-eligible employee applicants must complete the "Parking Permit Course" at uvm.edu/transportation/required-parking-permit-course. A copy of the Certificate of Completion must be attached to your application.

Vendor Parking (On-Campus) Renewal

For the purpose of parking management a Vendor will be considered an individual or company supplying goods or services for sale.  Examples are: Food Services, vending machines and/or products for vending, office equipment and/or service to vending machines and other equipment related to a vendors on campus operation.  Anyone identifying as a vendor must have the prior approval through a University Department Representative to qualify for a vendor parking permit.  The authorization must be completed through the Vendor Parking Permit Application process
