UVM Accounting Career Fair

Welcome Back Pizza Resource Fair  

September 14, 2023 | 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. | Fleming Green 

This event is an opportunity for GSB students to connect with GSB clubs and campus resources over a slice of Open Hearth Pizza! Whether it’s getting involved in a business-related club, or navigating identity spaces on campus, this fair aims to create an environment of support for the unique ways students want to feel connected to campus. 


GSAC Professional/Business Attire 

September 19 - 20, 2023 | 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. | Keller Room

At one point or another, all students will need business professional clothing – whether it’s for a job interview, case competition, networking night, or presentation. Since 2019, the Grossman Student Advisory Committee (GSAC), one of GSB’s several student-run clubs, has hosted its annual Professional Business Attire sale in GSB's Keller Room. This is a great opportunity to get affordable, high-quality professional and business formal clothing while giving back to the school community. Clothing ranges from ties, suits, shirts, a nice pair of pants, and much more. GSB First-Years, this is the perfect opportunity to find both affordable business casual and business formal attire for your presentations in your Business Communications class! (BUS 1130). The event welcomes all UVM students!


Vermont Legacy and Family Enterprise Awards

Family businesses are a major driver in the world economy. What may start as an idea in a home, with determination and innovation, grows into a business built to last. The 12th annual UVM Vermont Legacy and Family Enterprise Awards celebrate and honor entrepreneurs and family enterprises that demonstrate a commitment to creating sustainable business through leadership and innovation. If you're considering going into business for yourself someday, you don't want to miss this event!


UVM Weekend  

September 30, 2023 | 10 – 11:30 a.m. | Keller Classroom, Ifshin Hall, Grossman School of Business 

Mark your calendars for UVM Weekend 2023, September 29 – October 1! Campus will be alive and hopping with activities for alumni, parents, families, and friends. Formerly known as Alumni Weekend and Parents & Family Weekend, we welcome all for three days of sporting events, open houses, the 25th-year class reunion celebration, and other signature events. At GSB, meet faculty, students, and advisors. Grab some materials, refreshments, and swag. Watch a slide show and/or take a guided tour through Kalkin and Ifshin Halls. Note that Ifshin Hall opened in fall 2018 and is a wonderful reflection of the support we receive from our alumni and friends.

Joy and Jerry Meyers Cup 

October 18, 2023 | 4 – 6 p.m. | Keller Room 

The Joy and Jerry Meyers Cup is a new annual initiative to help fund the businesses of undergraduate entrepreneurs at UVM. This business launch competition, which kicks off in the fall of 2023 with funding for the next 10 years, is the first of its kind in Vermont and aims to help mentor and finance UVM undergraduate entrepreneurs to create new Vermont-based business ventures. The grand prize winner each year will receive $212,500 in cash plus in-kind services from business partners to start their business. While application submissions are open to graduating UVM undergraduates, students with a business idea or entrepreneurial mindset can become involved at any stage and can join a development workshop on October 18 leading up to the final application deadline in January.
