I need to miss class for an appointment or a health issue (including mental health)- what do I do?
- Submit an excused absence request through Oasis. Your reason can be as detailed or as vague as you need it to be, but should reference the criteria in the Attendance Policies listed in the Student Handbook (the Foundations Attendance Policy and the Clerkship Attendance Policy and
- If an M1 or M2: Contact Course Director to determine next steps. Expect to make-up missed material. OR, if in clerkships: Message your attending or team for the day to let them know you will be absent.
