LEAP Student Representatives are trusted peers who have demonstrated an ability to navigate difficult interpersonal conflicts by viewing them from multiple perspectives in a nonjudgmental fashion. They help improve our learning environment and assist in adjudicating concerns involving students.

Cup of coffee coordinators

Body

Cup of coffee coordinators: when a student-to-student cup of coffee conversation is needed, these students work with the Learning Environment team to help assign cup of coffee messengers.

Medical Student Council of Peers (MSCP)

Body

MSCP is a peer-based approach to addressing student concerns.  Students on MSCP meet with students with professionalism concerns.  

 

 

 

 

Communication

Body

Students meet with the Office of the Learning Environment team to help promote the work of the LEAP committee and share important information. 

 

 

Data analysis and visualization

Body

Responsible for helping draft annual report and provide feedback on the kind of data to include to increase transparency. 

 

 

 

Leadership Liaison

Body

Goal to increase communication with other student leadership groups: visit SC, SEC, SJC and Wellness Committee meetings once/year to update student leaders on LEAP initiatives and to receive feedback from groups to report back to LEAP.
