LEAP Student Rep. Leadership Roles and Drop in Hours
Drop In Hours
Medical and Graduate student representatives have launched monthly drop-in hours for students to help support professional behavior in both the pre-clinical and clinical learning environments.
Meet your student rep. in person or on zoom to discuss any concerns or just check in.
Cup of coffee coordinators
Cup of coffee coordinators: when a student-to-student cup of coffee conversation is needed, these students would work with Liz and Nathalie to help assign cup of coffee messengers. Goal is at least 1 person from each class, need VT and CT reps, min = 3
2026: Alex Tran
2027: Anthony Jeong (CT) & Cassie Chin
2028: TBD
Medical Student Council of Peers (MSCP)
Students who sit on the MSCP (peer-based approach to addressing student concerns) meet quarterly to discuss in broad strokes the reports that the Learning Environment is receiving and ask for student feedback.

2028: Kate Bidgood

Communication

2028: Kate Bidgood, Jess Fitzgerald
Data analysis and visualization
Responsible for drafting annual report, would also be helpful to get feedback about info to include in talks Nathalie and Liz give to faculty, what kind of data you’d like to see more of, how to increase transparency. These students could work with communication if needed. Goal: 2-3 students

2028: Jess Fitzgerald

Goal to increase communication with other student leadership groups: visit SC, SEC, SJC and Wellness Committee meetings once/year to update student leaders on LEAP initiatives and to receive feedback from groups to report back to LEAP.
