Founded in 1822, the Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at the University of Vermont is the seventh oldest medical school in the nation. Our mission is to educate a diverse group of dedicated physicians and biomedical scientists who will serve across all disciplines of medicine. Larner is a pillar of UVM’s research enterprise, consistently securing the majority of awards and research funding.
