Founded in 1822, the Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at the University of Vermont is the seventh oldest medical school in the nation.

Research

The UVM Larner College of Medicine receives $90 - 100 million annually in research funding. Researchers in laboratory, clinical, and community settings work toward a greater understanding of disease and wellness, as well as new, more effective treatments.
