Office of Medical Communications

We provide Public Relations for the college including: media outreach and inquiries; consultation to the Dean's Office, faculty and staff; coordination with UVM Strategic Communications; and messaging to the internal and external communities.

Larner regularly receives coverage in both local and national news outlets, and our team is dedicated to crafting stories that highlight the college's individuals, research endeavors, and events. We strive to ensure that the achievements of our people and institution are well-publicized.

Medical Communications oversees the Larner College of Medicine websites. The office also offers support, implementation, and web tools to create and maintain college websites, including training for web content editors.

We offer graphic design and project management, art direction, and photography services. Our office also produces print and digital publications for the college and UVM community, including the Larner Medicine Newsletter and Vermont Medicine magazine.

Our office manages over twenty community events annually celebrating student achievement including orientation, white coat ceremony, match day, and graduation.

We love engaging with our social media platforms! The Medical Communications team manages the college's social media accounts, which include Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and the Student Blog.
