Commencement 2026
The Larner College of Medicine Ceremony will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at 3:00 P.M. in the Ira Allen Chapel at the University of Vermont. Reception to follow in the Grand Maple Ballroom at the Davis Center. The ceremony will be livestreamed and recorded.

Regalia
Members of the Class of 2026 will be notified when regalia is ready to be picked up in early May.
Guest Hooders
Graduates may invite one guest hooder to assist with hooding during the graduation ceremony. Hooders must meet eligibility requirements, wear full academic regalia and their names must be shared in advance. Additional information about guest hooders will be shared with members of the Class of 2026 via email.
Arrival Time/Location
Graduate should arrive at the Ira Allen Chapel to prepare for line-up at 2:00 P.M and should enter the building using the back entrance, accessed from the Votey Parking lot. Student line-up will take place in the Billings Lecture Hall.
Tickets
Tickets are required for all guests to attend the graduation ceremony. Each graduate is guaranteed up to six guest tickets, but may request additional tickets via a wait list. Wait list tickets are not guaranteed. Tickets will be requested for guests by the graduate via a link to be shared in late March via email.

Information for Guests of the Class of 2026
Tickets
Tickets are required to attend the Larner College of Medicine Ceremony. Graduating students will receive up to six guest tickets for the ceremony with the opportunity to request additional tickets via a wait list. Wait list tickets are not guaranteed. Graduates will receive a link to request tickets via email in the early Spring.
