Commencement 2026
The Larner College of Medicine Ceremony will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at 3:00 P.M. in the Ira Allen Chapel at the University of Vermont. Reception to follow in the Grand Maple Ballroom at the Davis Center. The ceremony will be livestreamed and recorded.

Information for the Class of 2026
Regalia
Regalia is required to participate in the graduation ceremony. Members of the Class of 2026 may pick up regalia on the following days from 11am - 1pm:
Monday, May 11
Tuesday, May 12
Wednesday, May 13
Thursday, May 14
Regalia will be available for pick up in the Given Courtyard in front of the Office of Medical Communications.
Guest Hooders
Graduates may invite one guest hooder to assist with hooding during the graduation ceremony. Hooders must meet eligibility requirements, wear full academic regalia and their names must be shared in advance by April 24. Review the guidelines for additional information about selecting a guest hooder.
Arrival Time/Location
Graduates should arrive at 2:00 PM, using the back entrance to the Ira Allen Chapel, accessed from the Votey parking lot. Student line-up will take place in the Billings Lecture Hall.
Tickets
Tickets are required for all guests to attend the graduation ceremony. Each graduate is guaranteed up to six guest tickets, but may request additional tickets via a wait list. Wait list tickets are not guaranteed. A link to request tickets was sent to graduates via email on Wednesday, April 8th.Graduates must log on with their UVM netid to request tickets. The deadline to request tickets in April 29 at 12pm.
ADA Accommodations & Accessible Parking
All celebrations and ceremonies at the University of Vermont are physically accessible and include use of CART (Communication Access Realtime Translation) at all venues. Information for Guests of the Class of 2026
Tickets
Tickets are required to attend the Larner College of Medicine Commencement Ceremony. Graduating students receive up to six tickets for the ceremony with the opportunity to request additional tickets via a waitlist. Waitlist tickets are not guaranteed. Graduates will receive a link to request ticket in early April. Wait list tickets will be allocated after the initial ticketing period closes on April 29.
