Yasna Palmeiro-Silva holds a degree in nursing from the Universidad Católica de Chile, postgraduate diplomas in Biostatistics and Public Policy, a Master's degree in Public Health from the Universidad de Chile, and a PhD in Global Health from University College London. Yasna is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Health and the Global Environment, in the Department of Global Health at the University of Washington in the United States. She works with Lancet Countdown and other research groups in the Americas. Her research focuses on the relationship between climate change and population health, as well as planetary health.
