Academic Success
Veterans are typically older, and have different life experiences than traditional college aged students. They may have a family to support, or health issues to manage, but Veterans also understand what mission accomplishment is.
UVM offers a wide array of academic success resources to help you accomplish your mission – it’s up to you to engage with them. Connect early, and connect often. Email Veterans@uvm.edu with questions or for an introduction to another office or resource.
To continue using VA education benefits, students must maintain satisfactory academic progress, generally greater than a 2.0 GPA. UVM cannot certify enrollment information to VA for any student on academic probation past two terms.
