UVM offers the following Yellow Ribbon Scholarships to eligible out-of-state undergraduate, graduate, and medical students on a first-come, first-serve basis.
- Unlimited scholarships covering half of the difference between in-state and out-of-state tuition per year to out-of-state undergraduate students, with a VA matching scholarship.
- 2 scholarships of up to $5,000 per year to out-of-state graduate students, with a VA matching scholarship of up to $5,000.
- 5 scholarships of up to $10,000 per year to Larner College of Medicine students, with a VA matching scholarship of up to $10,000.
You must be 100% eligible for Post-9/11 GI Bill Benefits (Chapter 33) in order to apply for the Yellow Ribbon Scholarship. If you have questions about your Post-9/11 GI Bill eligibility, visit https://benefits.va.gov/gibill/.
UVM will begin accepting undergraduate, graduate, and medical applications for Fall 2021 and Spring 2022, May 1, 2021.
