An Undergraduate Certificate is a credentialed course of study focused on a particular topic. A distinguishing feature of Undergraduate Certificate programs is a capstone or other mentored learning experience that integrates knowledge and skills from prior coursework and in which students learn through innovation, creativity, experience, and reflection. University of Vermont undergraduate certificate programs are for matriculated students only and are meant to broaden and enrich an undergraduate major.
