Master's Student in Natural Resources

Alison grew up in Williston, VT and is pursuing a Master’s in Natural Resources from the University of Vermont. She will be working closely with the Lake Champlain Sea Grant and her research will focus on evaluating the long-term programmatic outcomes of the Watershed Alliance, which is a place-based watershed science program for students and teachers across the Lake Champlain Basin.

Alison received her BS in Biology and Government from St. Lawrence University in 2020. She spent two years as a member of AmeriCorps and most recently, was a Project Coordinator for the Friends of Northern Lake Champlain. Working to improve water quality in Lake Champlain and teaching students and community members about the watershed they live in inspired Alison to pursue her master’s degree from UVM and work with the Watershed Alliance.

In her free time, you can find Alison backcountry skiing, running, or biking around Vermont.

Prospective graduate students interested in learning more about research and experiences in the Rubenstein School may contact Alison.
