Master's Student in Natural Resources

Abby is originally from Chicago and will graduate at the end of Fall 2022 with a B.S. in Environmental Studies. She will continue on to finish her Accelerated Master’s in Natural Resources. She is interested in environmental justice, land use, and climate change’s effects on place-sense.

Abby is currently helping Dr. Bindu Panikkar with research looking into the recognition process for Indigenous tribes in Vermont, energy sovereignty in Alaska, and carbon capture technologies in Iceland. She is also apart of UVM's Socially Responsible Investing Advisory Committee. In her free time, Abby can be found in the Rubenstein Student Advisory Board office, skiing, hiking, walking around Burlington, tending to her house plants, or playing with her one-year-old cat, Bronco.

Prospective Accelerated Master's Program students and graduate students interested in learning more about research and experiences in the Rubenstein School may contact Abby.
