The University of Vermont Dan and Carole Burack President's Distinguished Lecture Series and UVM Honors College Zeltzerman Lecture Series will host a presentation by Dr. Dorceta Taylor on Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at 5:00pm in the UVM Ira Allen Chapel. The event is free and open to the public.

 

This event presents a unique opportunity for critical and collective reflection on the state of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the region’s environmental institutions.

  • James E. Crowfoot Professor of Environmental Justice, University of Michigan
  • Freudenberg Lifetime Achievement Award (Association of Environmental Sciences & Studies)
  • Carol Hollenshead Award for Excellence in Promoting Equity and Social Change

Dr. Taylor is a leading national thinker and do-er in addressing multifaceted questions at the intersection of environmental and social justice. Her many accomplishments include:
