BIO

As Associate Director, Dr. Langevin helps oversee the Cancer Center’s community outreach and engagement activities. Additionally, he helps monitor and define the cancer burden throughout the catchment area across Vermont and northern New York state, guide evidence-based community outreach efforts in collaboration with community stakeholders, and promote cancer research that is relevant to our region. 

Dr. Langevin received his PhD in Epidemiology at the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health and post-doctoral training in cancer epidemiology and environmental pathology at Brown University, Prior to joining UVM, he spent 10 years on the faculty at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, where he served as co-Director of the NCATS-funded Clinical and Translational Research Graduate Education program.
