“Rally Against Cancer” is an annual campaign to raise awareness for cancer research taking place at the UVM Cancer Center and to recognize the patients and caregivers whose lives are impacted by cancer in our local communities.
This February, UVM Cancer Center and UVM Athletics, in partnership with Mascoma Bank, will host four Rally Against Cancer hockey and basketball games.
All patients, providers, and caregivers are invited to rally together at these winter 2026 games:
- February 5, 2026 6 p.m. - UVM Women's Hockey vs. Boston University
- February 19, 2026, 6 p.m. - UVM Women's Basketball vs. UMBC
- February 20, 2026, 7 p.m. - UVM Men's Hockey vs. Providence
- February 26, 2026, 7 p.m. - UVM Men's Basketball vs. UMass Lowell
At the game, stop by the UVM Cancer Center table to fill out an “I Rally For…” sign. Cheer loudly for the patients and caregivers who are honored throughout the program and wear lavender as a show of support for all cancer types!
