Hello Catamount Country,  

We have some exciting news: Residential Life and University Dining are coming together to form University Housing and Dining Services!

Throughout the campus housing and residence life profession and as a national best practice, it is common that when the dining operations reports up to campus housing, the department name should shift to encompass the scope of the new portfolio. 

With enthusiasm, I’m excited for the unification of both departments as one in creating a true signature experience that complements campus housing and dining at UVM. 

As we start this transition, I am hoping this unification will help create a better experience for you.

• Our website is now uvm.edu/housingdining
  • Be sure to check out some new features on our site
    • You can now find a calendar of events and a list of recent email communications on the homepage
    • At the bottom of the homepage you will also find a link to submit digital signage
      • Submissions will be shown on the TV screens in the residence halls to promote things happening on campus!
      • The guidelines of what can be submitted and approved for posting are on the header of the form 

Indeed, what a joy it as your Executive Director of University Housing and Dining Services, to take another momentous step in forging our path to become a premier campus housing and dining program in our nation. Simply put we are turning lemons into lemonade and transforming UVM to be an even better place for our students. 

Looking forward to continuing to serve UVM and our exceptional students as a new, enhanced department.
