SEAC strives to build and contribute to the Patrick Leahy Honors College community of globally responsible and multiculturally competent individuals. We embrace the knowledge, skills, and voices of those with a rich variety of experiences so that we can foster an atmosphere of inclusion and excellence in alignment with university-wide efforts.

Meredith Gayanilo
Meredith Gayanilo (she/her) is a first-year sustainability, ecology, & policy major with a minor in reporting & document storytelling from Corpus Christi, TX. In S.E.A.C, she focuses on community outreach, primarily on student engagement, amplifying diverse voices, and communication within the Patrick Leahy Honors College Community. She is also involved at the Tutoring Center, serving as the Social Media and Promotions Assistant and Assistant News Editor for The Vermont Cynic. Outside of work, she participates in Club Swim, the Symphony Orchestra, the Percussion Ensemble, the Catholic Students Association, and Women in Law.
Meili Winchester
Meili Winchester (she/her) is a sophomore public health major with minors in psychology and health & society from Colchester, VT. In S.E.A.C, she focuses on accessibility and mental health, increasing awareness, and advocating for social belonging within the Patrick Leahy Honors College community. She is also involved in the Public Health Advocacy Club, serving as the outreach coordinator and an office assistant at the Exam Proctoring Center. Outside of work, she participates in the Asian Student Union, Partners in Health Engage, and the UVM Pad Project.
Kaytaki Pathak
Kaytaki Pathak (she/her) is a first-year Environmental Science major, minoring in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology and pursuing a certificate in Place-Based Education. She is from Arlington, MA. On SEAC, she focuses on event planning and student engagement, as well as media management and advancing student-focused policies. Outside of SEAC, Kaytaki is on the Rubenstein School's Student Advisory Board.
Elliot Baird
Elliot Baird (he/him) is a senior Linguistics and English major from Fairfax, Virginia and serves as the chair of SEAC. Over his time on the committee, he has focused on policy development, operations and support, representation to leadership and other student groups, and trans and LGBTQ issues. He's also the safety officer for Linguistics Club, and is an active member of Mortarboard National Honors Society and Ballroom and West Coast Swing Society.
