Vermont 4-Hers ages 8-18 — and then some adults! — tested their knowledge during rounds of verbal questions at this year's State Working Steer Quiz Bowl Contest.
The contest, which covered working steer as well as more bovine-related topics, was held at the Berlin Extension office on Feb. 22.

Randolph resident Deb Skoda kept score, and Braintree resident Amy Ferris served as the contest moderator.
And: after the youth were finished with their two rounds, the adults competed in a round of questions, with the youth acting as officials. A great time of learning for everyone!
