Northwest Vermont 4-H Regional Day Showcases Talents of Local 4-H'ers

Essex Junction--The annual Northwest Regional 4-H Day, April 20, in Essex Junction provided a platform for 4-H'ers from four counties to share what they've learned in 4-H projects and club activities.

The University of Vermont (UVM) Extension event, held at Essex High School, featured more than 100 youths, ages 5 to 18, from Addison, Chittenden, Franklin and Grand Isle Counties. They participated in action exhibits, stage presentations, clothing revue, illustrated talks and other activities.

In addition to earning ribbons, many of the participants, ages 8 and up, were selected to perform again at 4-H State Day, May 18, at the Barre Civic Center in Barre. They include, alphabetically by county, the following individuals and clubs:
