Research in the UVM Department of Chemistry covers all five traditional areas of the chemical sciences: physical, organic, inorganic, analytical, and biochemistry. However, the UVM Department of Chemistry recognizes that the best work comes from cross-disciplinary endeavours, and as such our faculty often span traditional lines to perform cutting-edge research that brings together multiple disciplines.
