Body
- Light: Direct light, southern exposure.
- Temperature: Warm. OK to place near window but move the cactus slightly away from a frosty winter window, minimum 45° – 50°F.
- Water: Give the cactus a soaking watering once a month, even less during the winter. Don’t leave the pot sitting in water. Start fertilizing once a month in the spring.
Succulent
Body
- Light: Direct light, southern, western or eastern exposure.
- Temperature: Warm. OK to place near window but move the succulent slightly away from a frosty winter window, minimum 50°F.
- Water: Give the succulent a soaking when bone dry. Don’t leave the pot sitting in water. Water sparingly during the winter. Start fertilizing once a month in the spring.
Begonia
Body
- Light: Bright indirect light, eastern or western exposure.
- Temperature: Moderately warm, minimum 60°F during winter, avoid cold air drafts.
- Water: Allow the soil to dry between watering. Water 2X/week from spring to autumn, water 1X/week during winter. Apply nutrient fertilizer 2X/month.
Croton
Body
- Light: Direct light, eastern or western exposure.
- Temperature: Warm, minimum 60°F in winter.
- Water: Water 2X/week from spring to autumn, water 1X/week during winter. Do not allow soil to completely dry out. Apply nutrient fertilizer2X/month during warm seasons, 1X/month during winter.

- Light: Direct light in winter; partial shade in summer.
- Temperature: Moderate to warm, minimum 60°F during winter, avoid cold air drafts.
- Water: Water 2X/week from spring to autumn, water 1X/week during winter. Apply nutrient fertilizer 2X/month.
Dracaena
Body
- Light: Light shade with eastern or western exposure.
- Temperature: Moderately warm, minimum 55°F in winter.
- Water: Water 2X/week from spring to autumn, water 1X/week during winter. Do not allow soil to completely dry out. Apply nutrient fertilizer 2X/month duringwarm seasons, 1X/month during winter.
Parlor Palm
Body
- Light: Indirect light.
- Temperature: Moderately warm, prefers cool night temperatures during winter, 50°F.
- Water: Do not allow standing water in bottom saucer. During winter, keep soil slightly moist. Water 1X or 2X/week during spring and summer. Fertilize 1X/month.
Peperomia
Body
- Light: Bright indirect light; fluorescent light is sufficient.
- Temperature: Moderately warm, minimum 50° – 55°F during winter.
- Water: Water moderately but consistently; allowing the top one inch of soil to dry before re-watering. Water less frequently during winter. Apply nutrientfertilizer 2X/month during warm seasons, 1X/month during winter.
Philodendron
Body
- Light: Indirect light only.
- Temperature: Moderately warm, 55°F during winter.
- Water: water once or twice/week; during winter avoid over-watering, apply nutrient fertilizer 1X/month in wintertime and 2X/month summertime.
Pothos
Body
- Light: Indirect light only, fluorescent light is sufficient.
- Temperature: Moderately warm, night temperature 50° – 55°F during winter.
- Water: water 1X/ week during winter; 2X/week during summer; apply nutrient fertilizer 1X/month during winter, 2X/month spring – autumn.
Schefflera

- Light: Bright light, however, away from direct sunshine.
- Temperature: Avoid temperatures above 70°F, minimum 55°F during winter.
- Water: Water 2X/week from spring to autumn, water 1X/week during winter. Apply nutrient fertilizer 2X/month during warm seasons, 1X/month during winter.

- Temperature: Moderately warm, minimum 60°F during winter.
