Sarah was born and raised in Asheville, North Carolina and is set to graduate from UVM with a BA in Geography and a minor in Political Science in December of 2022. Throughout college, she has spent time working in the Student Government Association’s office focusing on academic issues and concerns. She also serves as an admissions ambassador and peer writing tutor here at UVM. Sarah holds particular interest in rural studies; her undergraduate thesis research is centered around the social experiences of Vermont’s rural children and teenagers. Through the accelerated MPA program at UVM, Sarah hopes to expand her knowledge of the public sector and legislative policy in order to better advocate for America’s rural populations. In her free time, Sarah is an avid skier, hiker, podcast listener, and reader!
