Robbie was born in suburban Philadelphia. He grew up in the area and went to Penn State to earn his bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science. He found an interest in nature and the outdoors in his time becoming an Eagle Scout. Robbie worked as a horticulturist for Longwood Gardens where he was able to apply the skills learned from his degree. He gained experience with higher education while working for an ecology lab as an undergraduate. His interests include seasonal labor and community-building efforts.
