Danish Hasan Ansari, Ph.D. Student, L4E Fellow

Mr. Danish Hasan Ansari completed his BSc Honors in Economics from the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) in Lahore, Pakistan. After graduation, he joined the Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI) in Islamabad, Pakistan, as a Project Assistant. During his tenure at SDPI Danish worked with organizations like UN Habitat, British Council and Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES). After working at SDPI, Danish completed his MSc in Economics from the Friedrich Schiller University of Jena, in Germany. After the completion of Master’s, he returned to Pakistan and joined Iqra University, Islamabad as a Lecturer in the Department of Social Sciences.

Danish has research work and publications in the fields of social entrepreneurship, internal migration and climate induced migration. His current research focus is on how macroeconomic policy tools can be used for the mitigation of climate change.
