Benton graduated from Castleton University with a bachelors in Economics in May of 2020. He began working for BROC Community Action as a grant administrator for COVID-19 relief grants and small business counselor in the Microbusiness development program assisting small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs develop business plans and launch businesses. He is passionate about community economic development and through the MPA program hopes to grow his knowledge of public policy to make positive change. In his free time he enjoys cooking, skiing, and hiking Vermont’s tallest peaks.
