Our Careers in Finance panel, once again led by Jamie Flicker '87 took center stage last Friday when we welcomed back to campus five successful alumni, all of whom have made their mark in the world of finance and investment. 

The career panel was held in Ifshin Hall and followed two seminars;  Wall Street 101: "An Introduction to Institutional Investment Management" presented by Sandy Sanders ’96, while Wall Street 102: “M&A Case Studies” was presented by Jamie Flicker.

The day culminated with a speed networking session, that enabled every student to have the opportunity to talk and ask career/industry questions with each panelist in a more personal table setting.

Career advice centered around several themes; have passion and show it, demonstrate why someone should invest in you, be able to sell yourself and demonstrate the value you add, don’t wait… create opportunities, find a good mentor and good communication skills are vital.
