Interested in innovation in the retail world?
Please join us Thursday October 28, 2021, in the Keller Room, Ifshin Hall at 3 p.m., as the Kalkin Retail Initiative welcomes, Dan Whitebook (’86), President of Atlantic Hosiery LLC., back to the UVM campus for a talk and networking opportunity.
Dan has led Atlantic to great success with his unique business model. Atlantic Hosiery focuses on redistribution of surplus clothing from retailers and manufacturers, while also building an extensive network of warehousing space that provides a secondary revenue stream.
Dan will be speaking for one hour before answering questions and networking with interested students. All UVM students are welcome to attend.
The Eugene and Joan Kalkin Retailing Initiative at the Grossman School of Business was set up via an endowment established by Eugene and Joan Kalkin to support academic and professional development of students in the area of retailing. Eugene Kalkin had a long and distinguished career in retailing, most notably as the innovative founder of the highly successful chain Linens ‘n Things.
