For our annual Hoffman Family Business Lecture Series, scheduled for April 13, 12 noon at the Waterman Memorial Lounge, the University of Vermont Gossman School of Business is proud to welcome Michael Goldberg.
Michael, together with his partners, Neil and Steve Goldberg, run Raymour & Flanigan Furniture. They currently operate 111 retail locations and employ 4,800 associates in 7 states. In 1999, Michael was awarded the American Heritage Award, an award acknowledging excellence within the furniture industry.
“We are delighted to welcome Michael as this spring’s Hoffman Family Business Lecture Speaker,” said Grossman School of Business Dean Sanjay Sharma. “Michael's fascinating business experience will intrigue and inspire our students.”
Aside from his speech, his visit includes breakfast with a select group of students, a meeting with UVM President Sullivan and a visit with UVM Hillel. The Hoffman Family Business Lecture Speaker event will be held on Wednesday, April 13 at the Waterman Memorial Lounge, beginning 12 noon, is free and open to all.
