We all know the housing market is hot – but what does that mean for a student looking to forge their path in real estate?

Luckily, a panel of four highly successful alumni and friends of UVM will soon join Grossman School of Business to answer these questions and plenty more. The Careers in Real Estate Panel, presented by the Grossman School of Business, will take place Wednesday, September 29th from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM.

Featuring a number of alumni and friends of UVM, the panel will dig into what it means to build a career in the world of real estate.

Panelists include:
James Aug ('87), Principal, Sabre Real Estate Group
Stephanie Miller Taylor, Principal, REM Development
Deborah McAneny ('81), Director, JLL
Biria St. John ('92), Vice Chairman, CBRE

Moderator: Afi Ahmadi, Esq. (’93)

With billions of dollars of transactions between them, the panel is prolific across commercial and multi-family real estate. Represented territories include New York City, New Jersey, Boston, Vermont, and all of the Northeast.

Whether you’re interested in real estate brokerages, development, investment, or anything in between, these four professionals are guaranteed to bring insight into an ever-changing industry. Students should bring their questions and curiosity!

Light refreshments and networking to follow. The event will be held in-person on Wednesday, September 29th from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM in the Keller Event Room, Ifshin Hall. The event is free and open to all. Students should RSVP on Handshake to attend by clicking here. Masks required.
