The new semester hit its stride with our Careers in Finance panel; which once again was led by Jamie Flicker '87 and proved to be a big hit with students.

Six successful alumni were welcomed back to campus, alums all from the world of finance and investment. The career panel was held at the Davis Center and followed two seminars;  Wall Street 101: Asset-backed securitization was presented by Ben Merrill, while Wall Street 102: M&A Case Studies was presented by Jamie Flicker.

The day culminated with a speed networking session, that enabled every student to have the opportunity to talk and ask career/industry questions with each panelist in a more personal table setting.

Career advice centered around several themes; keep an open mind and take advantage of opportunities, work hard, your path likely won't be a straight line, it's a small world so your reputation and integrity are key, and never stop networking.
