Enterprise Technology Services wishes all students, faculty, and staff a successful and productive academic year.  During the opening days and weeks of the semester, our support services will be giving priority to helping students get online and get their technology needs taken care of.  There are several changes in information technology services we'd like to mention, and there are special service hours during move-in weekend.

More Help Online:  Computing at UVM has a new web site.  With gateways for students, faculty, staff, and more, you may find just the information you need.  You'll find more and more video podcasts on the UVM computing web site, too.  Over the summer, we've added closed captions to many of our videos.  Available topics range from getting on the wireless network to installing UVM software.

We're continuing to enhance the computing web site as time permits, so please give us your ideas for what more you'd like to see.

Computer Lab and Classrooms in 113 Waterman

Lab and classroom hours during weeks when classes are in session are:

Monday - Thursday: 8 am to 7 pm

Friday: 8 am to 4:30 pm

The 113-T and 113-Q classrooms -- now running MacOS 10.6 "Snow Leopard" and Windows 7 --  are available for students to work any time they're not in use for classes.    Schedules are online.

Students should find the Macintosh systems in the Center for Multimedia Development (first floor of Bailey-Howe Library) suitable for work on weekends or other times when that location or schedule is more convenient.  Information about the Center for Multimedia Development is available by email to cmd.help@uvm.edu or on the CMD web site.

ETS welcomes any comments, questions, or suggestions you have about our services.  Please contact us at ets.client.services@uvm.edu
