CAPS Intern

Ravina Kate (she/ her) is a current intern at the Center for Health and Wellbeing. She earned her undergraduate degree Psychology from Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri. Ravina is now a counseling trainee at the University of Vermont and actively contributes to the Catamount Advance Program as a graduate assistant and residential advisor. During her practicum, Ravina had an opportunity to work with undergraduate students in a counseling trainee capacity. Her prior role as an advocate and case manager at the Women’s Center for Advancement in Omaha , Nebraska equipped her with skills to support survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. This experience deepened her capacity to assist individuals in navigating community resources and managing crisis situations.

Ravina has spent the last eight years studying and working in the United States as an international student from Pune, India. Fluent in Hindi, Marathi, and English, she aims to integrate western and eastern perspectives in counseling space , providing a holistic approach to support students. Particularly, as a student herself , Ravina deeply connects with transitions and challenges students encounter as they pursue their goals.
